After watching the amazing concept art by Xinyi Chen on artstation, I wanted to study the lighting and material process of that scene, it's been 3 and a half weeks of work in my free time; 100 objects and 46 materials in total, so in order to make a scene like this in less than a month, I had to make some concessions.

All the objects have been made in the shorter time possible, trying to respect the overall geometry, and using some smart materials in Substance Painter that I made by myself for this project (procedural wood/iron).

The scene has been rendered in Unreal Engine 4.26, using raytracing in real-time, and applying a lot of optimization in order to make it "playable". That scene can run at 40/50fps in my GTX 1070, using 2 main lights and a physical camera, so it's totally playable and optimized for videogames.

The project could improve with more time, reducing the topology of some objects, or putting more effort into some minor materials, but as I said, I wanted to do this in less than a month, so I'm pretty happy with the result, and it's been one of the most educative projects I ever made.
